The ingredient checker

The ingredient checker runs in your web browser. When you paste an ingredient list and press Check ingredients, the matching is done by code that was already loaded with the page. The checker itself does not send the text you paste to our servers, and we do not ask for an account, email address or any other personal information to use it.

Your browser keeps the text in the page until you clear it or close the tab. We do not use that text to identify you.

Analytics

We use analytics to understand which pages are read and where visitors get stuck. The analytics tools configured for this site are:

• Google Analytics 4 is not enabled in this build.
• Microsoft Clarity is not enabled in this build.

You can block these scripts with a browser extension or with your browser's cookie settings. The ingredient checker continues to work without them.

Please do not paste personal health information or other sensitive details into any form on this site. The checker only needs ingredient names.

Amazon Associates

This site participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Some links in the alternatives sections go to Amazon search results and may include an affiliate tracking tag. Clicking them can set Amazon cookies under Amazon's own privacy notice. The price you pay is not changed by these links.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
